Abbots Cross PS came out on top of a very competitive competition held at Seaview on Wednesday 3rd May 2006. Coming through a tough group they progressed to the final against Hazelwood Integrated PS winning 3-0 in the process.

Best thanks must go to NIE and Julie Graham of Youth Sport for their generous sponsorship of this event, inaugurated by the late Charlie Boyd last year. Charlie's influence was clearly seen to be missed, but best thanks must go to Alex Crossley and Philip "Joe" McCann of Crusaders FC for their excellent effort. To the Referees especially Roger Clarke and Glen Bell who officiated at each game and to all those who assisted in the smooth running of the day on behalf of Crusaders FC - A BIG THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We now look forward to continuing the special relationship with the Schools in North Belfast and Newtownabbey until the end of term with Alex and Joe, and we hope to be in a position to announce arrangements for next season starting in September in the Schools very shortly.
