Crusaders are at home for the first time in five matches in the Danske Bank Premiership and they play the Premiership leaders Glenavon in what is a massive game (3pm). Crusaders are getting back into the groove once again with a series of wins but Glenavon have been consistent all season up to the last two weeks and will want to stay at the top.
Crusaders go into the game on the the back of a good 4-2 win over Glentoran mid week in the League Cup and they will look to continue that form. Again we may see a small shuffle of personnel although some displays during the week may make Stephen Baxters job a little harder when picking the starting XI. Harry Doherty should keep the keepers position once again and the back four may see Mark McChrystal come back in again and Colin Coates if he has got over his thigh injury. The midfield will the hardest to call after good performances both last week and Tuesday night so we will wait to see who gets in. Two goal Jordan Owens may get the nod ahead of Rory Patterson for this one as well but only the management team will decide.
Glenavon will be looking back to winning ways after dropping five points in the last two Premiership games. Gary Hamilton has been pleased with performances but he is looking the killer instinct again. Crusaders will be aware of the goal threat that Glenavon have and the strike force can be devastating on their day.
