A 91st minute penalty by David Cushley helped Crusaders to 3 points today against Glentoran at The Oval in a game that will not live long in the memory.
Both sides looked leggy on a pitch that didn't attract great football and although chances where few and far between the closest Glentoran came was hitting the post after Sean O'Neill made a good reactive safe in the first ppace. O'Neill was gain on hand with a good save as the half ended 0-0.
The second was slightly better as Crusaders started to dominate. Elliott Morris saved several times and David Cushley shots where off target but it all changed in the 90th minute when Jordan Owens was pulled down in the box and David Cushley calmly slotted home the penalty after the board had been put up.
Three points and a move into 3rd place made it a good day if not late.
