Crusaders Sign Ronan Hale

Crusaders Football Club are pleased to announce that Ronan Hale has signed for the Club. Ronan (who joins his brother Rory at Seaview)  has signed a two and half year deal and goes immediately into the squad for tomorrow nights game against Newry City away.

Ronan returns to the Club after leaving to go across the water to Birmingham from Crusaders Football Development Centre a couple of years ago and comes back via Derry City where he  was on loan last season. The 20 year old centre forward has proved he can score at any level he has played at and he will be a welcome addition to the front line along side Jordan Owens and Rory Patterson.

Stephen Baxter is delighted to have got Ronan stating " I am excited to add Ronan to an already superb set of strikers and I believe he will make a massive impact as we enter the second half of the season. He is a lad that has it all from strength, speed and an eye for goal and supporters are in for an absolute treat when they see him play."

Stephen adds "He has teamd up with his brother Rory with whom he played with at Derry City and of course he will know Gerard and Rory Patterson also. All have played together and that will help them a lot."

Ronan on his arrival said "I am very pleased to come back to Crusaders and would like to thank Stephen and the Club for showing faith in me on signing me back. I cannot wait to get going now and I know I have a job to do to hold down a spot but I want to show everyone what I can do. To play alongside Crusaders record goal scorer in Jordan Owens and a professional like Rory Patterson will only help me develop also."

Ronan added " This Club and my family are linked in history and I hope I can be the legend my grandfather was on the Shore Road. It is down to me to make it work and I know I have the heart and passion to make it happen"

Welcome to Seaview Ronan.
