Crusaders and Linfield Draw

It was honours even today when Linfield and Crusaders clashed in a game that will be forgotten fairly quickly.

Crusaders where the better side in the first half taking the game to Linfield and Gareth Deane saved well from a Philip Lowry header which really was the highlight of the first half. Both sides came out the second half with the bit between their teeth but it was Deane again who had to make a good save this time from Heatley. Linfield where awarded a penalty when Colin Coates handled in the box but Gerard Doherty made a fantastic save when the spot kick was taken and it stayed 0-0. He saved superbly again 12 minutes later when he tipped a ball over with a wonderful rection save. The game slowed down after this and with little action in the last few min nutes the game ended 0-0.
