Stalemate At Seaview

It was a scoreless draw tonight at Seaview as Ballyclare Comrades proved good opposition in the latest pre season game for Crusaders.

Both sides where tight at the back and it left little room for the strikers to have a go. Paul Heatley had the best chance of scoring as he ran through on the Comrades goal but he shot inches wide and the goal stayed intact. Sean O'Neill looked sharp in the Crusaders goal and he played well throughout the game while Chris Hegarty and Howard Beverland played well together again in the centre of defence.

The second half really matched the first with both sides failing to finish when in good positions. Both goal keepers also played a part with Comrades keeper making a cracking stop while Sean O'Neill made a great save late on. The goals did not arrive and game finished 0-0.

Next up is Maiden City on Saturday at Seaview again and it's a 3pm kick off.
