Tuesday sees Crusaders back in action against Warrenpoint Town in a game that has been hastily rearranged to be played at Seaview(7.45pm)instead of Milltown due to ongoing work om floodlights. Crusaders will be looking to make it two wins out of two and get a solid start to the campaign while Warrenpoint will be out to show they are better than the 6-0 drubbing they got against Larne.
Crusaders have should have everyone available for this game but it may just be too soon for Matthew Snoddy, Rodney Brown and Kyle Owens even though they have stepped up training after injury. The good start on Saturday could mean Stephen Baxter going for the same team unless someone does report with an injury but we wait too see. If it is the same team then Sean O'Neill in nets with Billy Joe Burns, Colin Coates, Sean Ward and Jarlath O'Rourke in defence and the busy midfield of Paul Heatley, Rory Hale, Philip Lowry, Ross Clarke and Jordan Forsythe. Jordan Owens should lead the line. Stephen will push his side on and ask for the same tempo as Saturday and the quality of the goals also as they look to keep the winning start on track.
Warrenpoint Town got off to the worst possible start on Saturday when they well beaten by Larne and the ir primary aim will be too show that result as a one off. They have bought a new goalkeeper, Evan Moran, and he could go staright into the team if Stephen McDonnell feels he is ready or is needed. The rest of the team will be wanting to improve after such a bad start and Crusaders will need to be alert to this.
We are set for Match Day 2 and again a reminder the game has been switched to Seaview with a 7.45pm kick off. Admission is £12 & £8 and Season Tickets are valid for this match. We would love to see at Seaview to get behind Stephen and the team again and your support is appreciated. So get down early and let's hear you from the start. Keep The Faith.
