It was a point a each today in the eagerly waited Crusaders v Larne game at Seaview. Both sides where involved in a tough tactical battle and at the end neither came out on top.
Crusaders took the lead on 15 minutes when Philip Lowry stabbed the ball home after the ball fell to him from Paul Heatleys free kick. Larne then missed a penalty on 28 minutes when Davy McDaid hit the post but they where level at half time when a mistake by Colin Coates let in Johnny McMurray to equalise in injury time of the first half.
Larne came out all guns blazing and went 2-1 up on 46 minutes when Sean Graham cut in and gave Sean O'Neill no chance. Crusaders fought back and got an equaliser on 78 minutes when Sub David Cushley let fly from 35 yards and gave Conor Devlin no chance. Presure from both sides did not yield any more goals and it ended 2-2.
