Crusaders Lose At Coleraine Showgrounds

Crusaders lost their first Danske Bank Premiership game of the season today when Coleraine won 4-2 at the Coleraine Showgrounds.

Crusaders got off to the best possible start when Jamie McGonigle scored his first league goal for the Club when he scored after Chris Johns saved his first shot. Coleraine equalised when Ben Doherty scored and then went ahead when Stephen Lowrys shot went in off Jordan Owens boot as he went to clear.

Coleraine scored in the second half with a well struck Eoin Bradley free kick before Jamie Glackin put Coleraine 4-1 with a shot high into the net. Chris Hegarty pulled a goal back for Crusaders to make it 4-2 and if David Cushleys goal had stood it would have been a grandstand finish but it wasn't to be and Coleraine secured the points.
