The European campaign is over for another year as Crusaders lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers tonight 1-4 (1-6 on agg) but they can still be proud of their efforts against the English Premiership opposition who again fielded a team of superstars.

Crusaders actually took the lead in the game after 13 minutes when Paul Heatley jumped with Bennent and the ball ended in the net with a debate of who actually scored it. The game was level just 90 seconds later when Jimenez finished for the visitors after controlling well. Crusaders matched Wolves in all departments but where finally undone on 38 minutes when Bennent scored with his head and Wolves went in 3-1 at half time when Jimenez got his second with a smashing shot that flew by O'Neill.

Again Crusaders did well and created a few chances in the second half but they could not get that second goal.  Wolves though went further ahead on 77 minutes when Jordan Forsythe who was trying to clear only succeeded in putting the ball past Sean O'Neill and it was 4-1 and that's the way it ended.
