It's Crusaders against Dungannon Swifts at Seaview on Saturday and also 1st v 2nd as two unbeaten teams go head to head in the latest Danske Bank Premiership battle between the sides. Crusaders are ticking along nicely and will look to go top again on their own while Dungannon Swifts will have their own plan to leap frog Crusaders into pole position.
Crusaders may well stick with the side that drew with Larne last week unless Jamie McGonigle has recovered from injury enough and comes into the reckoning. Chris Hegarty and Jarlath O'Rourke are in line to start against their old club if selected in defence with Colin Coates and Billy Joe Burns filling out the back four. Midfield may be freshened up and Stephen could swap several who started last week and give them a rest and put Ross Clarke, Gary Thompson. David Cushley or Declan Caddell for example in for a change but we will not know until 1.45pm. Again Jordan Owens is ready to play but as already said if Jamie McGonigle is fit he may be given a chance to start or at least be ready to come on from the bench.
Dungannon Swifts under Kris Lindsay have started the season superbly and they continue to improve game on game. Like Crusaders they are unbeaten and are still squad building having signed Ross Redman and Sean Noble on Thursday. They have won the last three games after an opening day draw and momentum will make them a formidable opponent. Dungannon Swifts have had the better of exchanges recently over Crusaders and will know they face another hard tie this time round.
So all set for another key game. Although still early in the season it could mean a lot for either side if they get a win and we want you at the game in red & black to get behind your team. Admission is £12 & £8 and the McDonald Centre is open from 11am for food including the "Seaview Fry" and a full bar menu. Why not come down early and get fed before going out outside. Let's hear and see you like last week. It's appreciated. Keep The Faith.
