Coleraine v Crusaders Preview

The two unbeaten teams in the Danske Bank Premiership go head to head on Saturday as Crusaders travel to Coleraine to play for the first time this season on grass. Crusaders top the table by six points and will look to extend that further but Coleraine will have other ideas and look to close the gap.

Crusaders could well be unchanged from last weeks hard fought win over Glenavon as Stephen Baxters men look to keep this run going. Sean O'Neills heroics last week won the game for Crusaders and he will start again. The back four of Billy Joe Burns, Howard Beverland, Chris Hegarty and Michael Ruddy looked strong and should all be named also. The midfield last week where all magnificent so Paul Heatley, Rory Hale, Jordan Forsythe, Philip Lowry and Ross Clarke could get the nod as long as all report fit and well. Jamie McGonigle will start again in the absence of Jordan Owens as he recovers from injury. The starting XI will be up for this one and the chance to hopefully pull away from those below them will be inspiration enough.

Coleraine will be without three key players after last weeks derby with Ballymena United. James McLaughlin misses through injury while Stephen O'Donnell and Adam Mullan both where sent off and are suspended. They do have Lyndon Kane available though and Oran Keraney will more than likely call on his ervices. Crusaders will face a different Coleraine side than the one they played last season amd will need to ready for a more confident and formidable side.

So all set for what should be fireworks between two sides on top of their game. Kick off is 3pm and admission is £12 & £8. It would be good to see a big following at the Coleraine Showgrounds for this one. Let's make some noise and get behind the team from the start. It's the start of four big "back to back" games and let's all start it the right way. Keep The Faith.
